About Fitgig
Fitgig was founded by Caroline Welde to give fitness instructors and studios one place to find each other, build relationships, and make fitness work easier to discover.

Founder
Fitness fanatic. Corporate M&A background. Building the operating layer for fitness talent.
Our story
Caroline works in corporate mergers and acquisitions, where operating models, market structure, and how businesses scale are part of the everyday work. Outside of that world, she has always been deep in fitness.
Looking at the boutique fitness market, she kept seeing the same gap: instructors are the lifeblood of the industry, but the systems around them are fragmented. Jobs are found through Instagram stories, WhatsApp groups, personal networks, spreadsheets, and last-minute messages.
Fitgig was born from that gap. The goal is to become the fitness operating system for instructor talent: a place where instructors can be found, studios can hire, and real opportunities across Europe are easier to discover.
The team
Fitgig is still hands-on by design: talking to studios, finding real roles, learning what instructors need, and turning that into better tools.

Product, research, and support
A small team focused on studio research, job discovery, instructor outreach, product improvements, and the daily details that make the marketplace useful.
What we are building
Boutique studios are built around the people leading the room. Fitgig gives those instructors a place to be visible, discover roles, and build real studio relationships.
Hiring should not depend only on DMs, friends of friends, and last-minute posts. Studios need a clearer way to find, contact, and keep track of qualified talent.
Fitgig started in Copenhagen and is mapping opportunities across cities like Stockholm, Oslo, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, and Nice.
